The sky tends to be the most powerful element in my landscape photography for it is what captures my attention most reliably; I am awed by the beauty and transient nature of luminous color at dusk and dawn. Not even the most radiant neon can even dimly compare to the color wash that weaves across southwestern clouds, infusing them with hues so alive that a mere camera cannot adequately do them justice. -John Annesley-
